Inside Painting Classes - October through April 

Classes offered are for beginner through advanced students. All the fundamentals of painting are taught. Color theory, how to identify and use the different brushes, composition and focal point locations. 

 

Plein Air Painting - May through September 

Students will learn all the fundamentals of how to create beautiful paintings outdoors. Using a limited palette, students will learn how to simplify the vast landscape and capture the important aspects of a scene to create a successful plein air painting.  Students are taught to use a view finder, how to paint the light in a landscape and all other aspects of plein air.  We meet at a different location each month and students bring their own supplies. You are advised to wear sun and bug protection for outdoor classes.
